St. Michael the Archangel

This afternoon we visited the beautiful statue of St. Michael the Archangel. The children really enjoyed sitting outside looking at the statue. They were allowed to ask questions. When all of their questions had been answered, we sat there for a few minutes in quiet prayer.

One dime is worth ten cents.

Rules & Regulations

I know that the end of the school year is closing in on us, but for some reason the children seem to have forgotten all of the rules. Yesterday, we had to discuss and write out some simple recess rules. This morning, we discussed and wrote down our rules for the cafeteria. Please remind your child that they must follow the school rules every day that they are here. These rules help keep everyone safe.

This week in math, we will be learning about coins. Dr. Jean Feldman has some neat songs that really help us learn things in math. All week long, we will be singing her song, "Found A Penny." The first verse goes like this:

Today, we read a story called "Show What You Know." We talked about all of the different things that we learned how to do. Then we wrote a sentence telling something that we learned how to do this year.
