A big thank you to Bailey and his family.  They sent in a goodie bag for the classroom for his birthday.  We have new coloring books and puzzles.  Each child also received a pencil and eraser.  Thanks again and Happy Birthday, Bailey!

Story Time!

Mrs. Woods came to visit us today!  She told us two stories. One was a favorite from preschool, Abiyoyo.  The second was a flannel board story about a boy that had a mystery to solve.  His mom sent him on a mission to find a small house that was red and round and had no windows or doors, but it had a star inside.  He looked and looked and asked may people for help.  He finally did find the house.  Ask your child about it!

Mandatory Parent Meeting

I hope to see everyone at the Parent Meeting tonight.  If I see all of the parents, then the Kindergarten class will receive a reward tomorrow!!!

First Week of Kindergarten!

Well, we have finished our first week of Kindergarten.  We've made new friends, met new teachers, practiced our drills to keep us safe, and many other new and exciting things.  We even started a math unit.  Next week, we will begin a quick review of our letters, learn about science, and praise God for creating the skies.  I hope to have some pictures and maybe even some video posted soon.

Fire Station Field Trip

  Today we took a trip to our neighborhood fire station.  We have been studying community helpers in social studies.  We learned about the fire truck and the fire fighters jobs.
