Sedar-y Meal

Ms. Lampkins came to me this morning and told me that one the Kindergarten students came to her after school and said, "Ms. Lampkins, Ms. Lampkins, thank you for the Sedar-y Meal!" She had never heard it called a "Sedar-y Meal," but she said she will never forget that "Thank You!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CALLIE!

I didn't want anyone to think that I was pulling an April Fool's, so I waited until today to wish Callie a very Happy Birthday. She was even surprised at the end of the day by a present from her Uncle, Fr. Burns!
Hope that you had a wonderful birthday, Callie!

Funny Moment

During calendar time, I was putting up the April calendar and I told them that April was the best month. Then I told them why I thought April was the best month. I showed them when my birthday is, and they immediately started asking, "How old will you be?" I just smiled and said, "How old do you think I will be?" Miles said, "I know, she's gonna be 14." I just chuckled to myself and said, "You're right, I'm going to be 14!"

Lima Bean Project Update

On March 15, we were talking about how seeds grow and decided to try and grow a lima bean without any dirt. We put 2 lima beans in a bag with a wet paper towel and put the bag in the window. On Monday, we looked at the beans and saw that they had grown roots.
Today we looked and saw this:

Did you know that you can grow seeds without dirt?

Memory!

We had fun practicing our matching and memory skills!

Cydney, Jackson V., Jeremiah, and Callie played the original Memory game.

Cora, Leland, Luke, and Rayce played My Little Pony Memory.

Howie, Laura, Jackson M., and Miles played Sesame Street Memory.

Kyle, Michael, and Ethen played Bob the Builder Memory.

Heavenly Helpers

Our class goes to Adoration every Wednesday, but today was special. Mrs. Haas called our classroom and asked if we could help her. The lady that normally supervises Adoration in the morning could not be here today. She asked if we could fill in for her for a little while.

What a blessing to have such a prayerful group of students!

Gross Motor Activities with Mrs. Broeker

Mrs. Broeker came to our class today and showed us some gross motor activities. These activities help our brains work better and make us better learners.

Thank you, Mrs. Broeker, for visiting our class.
