Catholic Schools Week

On Monday, we had a Cheetos toss competition.  C.J. Burch volunteered to be the target!

On Wednesday, our class theme was "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Can you guess what they want to be?

Visitors!

We had some grandparents visit our social studies classroom today.  We had some questions for them about their childhood.

Thank you Mrs. Irvin, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Sights, and Mr. Sights for coming in and sharing your stories.

Back in the swing of things

Our first day back after Christmas break!  The children came in well rested and ready to get back into our routines.  I told them that the school year is almost half over, and we will start getting them ready for 1st grade!

WE'VE BEEN INVADED!

The Kindergarten classroom has been invaded by GERMS!  We had several students sick today.  I had a talk with the students that if they feel like they are going to vomit, they should go straight to one of the trash cans and carry it either to the restroom or the office. I also reminded them that they do not need to ask first if they feel like they are going to be sick.

After school today, I will be cleaning our room thoroughly!  Please remind your children to wash their hands and get plenty of rest this weekend.  I hope to see everyone back at school and healthy on Monday.
